在遠古的希臘，神王宙斯（連姆·尼森飾）與兄弟冥王哈迪斯（拉爾夫·費因斯飾）這對宿命中的貿敵人已經纏斗多年，原因則是因為宙斯的女兒珀耳塞福涅，哈迪斯當年強娶珀耳塞福涅而導致了兄弟反目，雖然最后哈迪斯娶到了珀耳塞福涅，但兄弟倆已經無可挽回的走向陌路，雙方都想找到機會，致對方于死地。
　　一次意外，令宙斯的兒子珀爾修斯（薩姆·沃辛頓飾）降落凡間，遭受種種磨難。為了幫助父親宙斯戰勝冥王哈迪斯，珀爾修斯在人間開始了一連串的艱巨修煉，為了解救心儀的埃塞俄比亞公主安德羅墨達（艾莉克莎·黛沃洛斯飾），珀爾修斯將要對付兇猛可怖的北海女妖。所幸的是，珀爾修斯認識了一群生死之交的戰士，降伏了雙翼神馬珀伽索斯，珀爾修斯和他們一起踏上了討伐冥王哈迪斯的旅途，珀爾修斯心里很明白，這不僅僅是為了父親宙斯，在這場混亂的諸神之戰里，戰勝冥王哈迪斯，意味著自己也能夠獲得神力，重回神界……
本片翻拍自1981年的同名電影《諸神之戰》。2010年4月16日在中國上映 。
