法國導演尼古拉斯·凡尼爾執導的首部劇情長片《狼》（loup）的原聲，之前他拍攝的影片均為紀錄片，且從未離開漫天風雪和大自然主題，他拍攝的《最后的獵人》和另一部同名紀錄片《狼》都與獵人和狼有關，這一次他把兩部影片融合在一起拍出了一部感人的劇情長片。導演尼古拉斯·凡尼爾不但熱愛自然與生命，同時也是個極罕見的冒險家，他曾在西伯利亞、加拿大北極區和阿拉斯加等地進行極地探險。曾出版多本關于其探險旅行的著作、攝影集、小說或報導。此片的官網： loup-lefilm/

這張原聲由法國配樂家Krishna Levy操刀，Krishna Levy 1964年出生于印度首都新德里，他5歲開始學習鋼琴，18時去美國留學，分別在Berklee College of Music和New England Conservatory獲得了電影配樂學士學位和作曲碩士學位。1988年他開始為法國電影配樂，2003年憑借《8 femmes》（八美圖）的配樂獲得了法國凱撒音樂獎提名和Golden Star獎。Krishna Levy對音樂與畫面有著十足的敏銳，擅長以華麗動人的管弦樂刻畫壯美的自然景觀，并傳達出人與自然，甚至是與動物之間的情感，此張專輯以提琴演奏為主，聽來給人感覺大氣磅礡，而又帶著絲絲蒼涼。
